Facial massage with Buccal is a restorative treatment for the face that elevates emotional expression by reducing tension through the muscles of the face and jaw. The face is our flower to the light, it holds our deepest emotions, expresses our feelings, and throughout our lives can store and hold these stressors of life creating tension.
This tension contributes to TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder, teeth grinding, headaches, sinus congestion, puffiness and facial muscular imbalance, creating a ‘box-like’ jaw.
A buccal holistic face massage targets muscles around the mouth and jaw, relieving clenching, puffiness, and elevating a radiant complexion.
This treatment is mindful and acknowledges the layers of human existence, body, mind, and spirit, with specialised techniques that imbue calm and restfulness Inclusive of a cleanse of skin, lymphatic lift, facial massage, and buccal.
90 min includes a head massage, a guided body scan with breath awareness, and facial cupping.
An intentional rhythm is created to encourage all systems to soften and awaken into the parasympathetic nervous system.

Remedial Massage
In my remedial body work I respect each treatment as being defined by individual client needs. Remedial body work addresses muscular discord with the use of intentional techniques to release stagnation, improve mobility and facilitate the removal of toxins. I am entranced with fascia, a connective subtle orchestration playing a fibrous elemental symphony constantly in conversation with the wholeness of the body. I address fascia expression with techniques such as acupressure, biodynamic cranial sacral, Orthobionomy and zen shiatsu and cupping if appropriate. I offer space in my remedial work for the holistic engagement of the somatic, emotional and energetic to encourage the nervous system to reset and restore allowing the recipient to connect with their body and emotions leaving calm and awake. In my experience, the softening of muscles follows the settling of the nervous system.

Cupping
I have found cupping to work especially well for people suffering with chronic soft tissue injury and restricted mobility. The nature of cupping directly addresses fascia congestion to improve movement, circulation and emotive tone.
Cupping is highly effective in relieving pain and restoring integrity to the muscles being worked upon, as well as improving the tensegrity of the being as a whole. Dispersing fascia congestion can be likened to the transformation of stagnant waters into a flowing river. You will leave feeling lighter, potentially more aligned and experience a flow with your whole being.
Remedial massage with cupping is beneficial for loosening muscles, to encourage blood flow, decrease pain and restriction felt in the body, migraines and headaches, fibromyalgia, and to help with the management of anxiety and depression. I also include remedial techniques such as Emmett, Orthobionomy, and Zen Shiatsu in my treatments.

Biodynamic Cranial Sacral
Biodynamic Cranial Sacral therapy is a light touch form of body work that is non-manipulative. This profound, gentle but powerful modality enhances the body’s own innate healing abilities. The therapist uses a ‘listening touch’ to tune into the body and nervous system. The therapeutic contact regulates the nervous system and sparks a biological process unique to everyone, to release held tensions, stresses and trauma from the body.
During treatment the body is brought back into the present moment with a sense of safety, spaciousness, and mindfulness of sensations. The body begins to listen to itself. In Biodynamics there is not an imposed plan for a person, rather a listening and support towards the body’s own innate intelligence and health. It is a holistic approach to injury, trauma, nervous system, and physiological-emotional issues.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a beautiful, soothing style of massage, with the flow of Lomi Lomi (Hawaaian style of temple massage) and warm stones, the muscles soften, and the mind flows with the unravelling of tension and ease into peace and wholeness. Essential oils are placed on points in the back to heighten the effects of plant, stone, fire, earth and water elements. A definite favourite of people looking to experience the beauty of warmth and relaxation in their bodies, coupled with the therapeutic benefits of improved circulation and digestion, decreased muscular spasm and pain, and a boost to the immune and lymphatic system.
